I’m Captain Jony Rok, and with over a decade of experience navigating the stunning waters of the South Bay, the ocean has become my true passion. With more than 3,000 hours at the helm, I’ve spent countless days fishing, exploring, and creating unforgettable adventures. Now, I want to share that experience with you aboard My Blue Heaven—a name that represents everything I love: the Los Angeles Dodgers, the deep blue ocean, and the joy of unforgettable moments on the water.
 

I grew up in San Pedro and have spent the last 15 years in Redondo Beach, always drawn to the ocean and the excitement of the game. As a kid, I’d listen to Vin Scully on my transistor radio, hanging on to every word as he painted the game in perfect detail. There was one phrase he said that stuck with me forever—“Blue Heaven on Earth.”
 

For me, Dodger Stadium was my first Blue Heaven—a place of excitement, energy, and pure joy. But years later, when I set out on the open ocean, I felt that same magic. The endless blue water, the salty air, the freedom of the sea—it was just as breathtaking. That’s when I realized I had two Blue Heavens.
 

My journey into boating started 12 years ago when my good friend Ed invited me on my first real ocean adventure. We took his 21-foot Triumph center console to Catalina Island, where we caught massive yellowtails and white sea bass. Just three days later, without even owning a fishing pole, my buddy Kris and I bought the exact same boat. From that moment on, the ocean became my second ballpark.
 

Now, as a seasoned captain and longtime South Bay local, I’ve dedicated myself to sharing the magic of the ocean with others. There’s something truly special about being out at sea—the thrill of the catch, the excitement of dolphins racing alongside the boat, or the simple peace of a sunset cruise. These are the moments that define my passion, and I want you to experience them too.
